Rumors of a Director's Cut from 2017 that was poorly received Justice League reached mythical proportions on the internet, and DC fans were excited to see it Zack SnyderThe version of the film, although there was nothing like it at the time. Now we know when exactly we can expect to finally see this Snyder Cutand folks, it's lurking around the corner like a parademon.

"I understand and respect your feelings, of course, and I just hope I can erase this version with what you see in March," said Snyder's response to the existing Justice League movie. Due to a family tragedy, Snyder had to leave the project in the middle of production and Joss Whedon stepped in to take over and finish shooting. The end result was a very clean version of Snyder's original vision, cutting out entire planned storylines and fading in beats of awkward comedies. Basically, it was a film that was cut into pieces and put back together in a way that didn't please anyone, given the Justice League at the box office and lukewarm to negative reviews. (Plus, Whedon himself was allegedly a terrorist attack and has recently been controversial.) In a surprise announcement earlier this year, Snyder announced that he had received the go-ahead for his version of the film to be completed, including a small amount of extra filming and publication HBO Max in 2021.
