Sasha Banks' character in Mandalorian Season 2 lastly confirmed

The Mandalorian Season 2 finally revealed who plays Sasha Banks. The hit Disney + show is back with a brand new episode full of Easter eggs that marks a huge step forward with the season two story arc. In the first two episodes, Din Djarin and the kid met up with new characters and did some side quests before being given a little bit of advice on where to find other Mandalorians. Episode 3, Chapter 11, does a little more of it, but with a better source of information. There are SPOILER For Mandalorian Season 2, read below at your own risk.

Sasha Banks, also known as Mercedes Varnado, is best known for her work as a professional wrestler in the WWE. However, it looks like the Star Wars universe is about to change that. Fans have been wondering who would play Banks for months, which only increased when she was first shown in the trailer while wearing a robe. Speculation about being a possible Jedi or rebel character began to spread. As it turns out, Banks plays a very different role in The Mandalorian season two than originally thought.

Mandalorian Season 2, Episode 3 shows that Sasha Banks actually plays a character named Koska Reeves, one of the two Mandalorian warriors who work with Bo-Katan Kryze from Katee Sackhoff from Rebels and The Clone Wars. Reeves watches Mando and the kid in the aforementioned robe at the beginning of the episode, then quickly disappears. We'll see her next on the barge after the Mandalorians rescued the child and Mando from a watery death.

Mando is skeptical of Koska Reeves and Bo-Katan Kryze because they are taking off their helmets. He does not consider them true Mandalorians, and they reveal that Mando is indeed a pursuit of the antiquated ancient ways. As for Reeves, she seems like a new Star Wars character that we'll likely learn a lot more about as she helps Bo-Katan find Moff Gideon and the Dark Sword. The Mandalorians will be on the hunt for Gideon while Gideon will hunt for the child.

Some believe Moff Gideon wants the kid to steal his powers of power, which makes sense to most fan theories. Gideon already wields the dark saber, so it would be easy to believe that he would want more power of whatever kind the child belongs to. With all the roads leading to the Jedi, the second season of The Mandalorian is about to get pretty interesting, though every episode of that season has been full of action and intrigue. The next week's episode is likely to be the turning point for some important action. Fortunately, we only have to wait another week for everything to unfold.
