Not canceled at ABC after 1 season
Don’t … don’t, come back for season 2.
The Adam Scott-hosted ABC game show – home of the aggressively cast candidate families and executive producer Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool cheeky voice-over – was canceled after summer sampling.
After a solid summer debut, Don’t hit an average of 3 million weekly viewers from June to August 2020 and a demo rating of nearly 0.6 (in Live + Same Day numbers). Among the game shows that ABC aired last season of TV, it ranked 4th in the demo (both To Tell the Truth and Match Game) but ranked last in the overall audience.
ABC’s Summer 2021 plan, as announced on Wednesday, includes the $ 100,000 Pyramid (which last aired in September of 2019), Celebrity Family Feud, To Tell The Truth, Press Your Luck, Card Sharks, Holey Moley, The Chase and The Hustler – plus some reality stuff and the celebrity dating game hosted by Zooey Deschanel.
