Katee Sackhoff shares a tipsy response to Mandalorian followers after her debut

Katee Sackhoff is enthusiastic about Star Wars fans and their reactions to The Mandalorian Season 2. The third episode debuted on Disney + last Friday, and fans put a fine comb apart every scene. In the first and second episodes, Din Djarin and the child started finding more Mandalorians, which has proven to be a little more difficult than originally intended. With that said, Episode 3 solved that problem. There are SPOILER For the Mandalorian Season 2, read on at your own risk.

Amazed and overwhelmed by this whole experience. It all started a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away and I'm so excited about the reaction to my girl Bo-Katan. I hope you all love her as much as I do. ?????? This is the #mandolorian way

Katee Sackhoff appeared in The Mandalorian Season 2, Episode 3 as Bo-Katan Kryze, the character she voiced in The Clone Wars and Rebels. While many Star Wars fans knew Sackhoff was cast in Season 2, it was still a big surprise to finally see the live-action version of the character along with two other Mandalorians taking off their helmets as well. Sacha Banks plays one of the aforementioned Mandalorians, Koska Reeves, who appears to be a brand new character.

The praise for Episode 2 brought Katee Sackhoff a good weekend. She used social media to share her excitement. “This whole experience blew my mind and overwhelmed me. It all started a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away and I'm so excited about the reaction to my girl Bo-katan. I hope you all love her as much as I do. That's the way ", she said. Bo-Katan has been a fan favorite character for years, and many assumed she would eventually crossbreed with Mando and the kid, largely due to her connection to the Darksaber she teases downstairs.

Bo-Katan Kryze is in search of the Darksaber who we learned is in Moff Gideon's position. Bo-Katan and her crew were able to save Din Djarin and the kid more than once in Season 2, Episode 2, and you'd have to think they'll all breed again, especially since Moff Gideon is on the hunt for Mando and the kid, though we don't yet know exactly why. Hopefully the Mandalorian Season 2 will address that aspect, along with the way Gideon got hold of the Darksaber in the first place.

Mandalorian Season 2 got off to a very good start in both storytelling and storytelling war of stars Easter eggs. While the episodes are on the shorter side, they have provided all replay viewers with more information and understanding of what Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are trying to do here. Hopefully episode 4 will continue in that tradition that has been established. You can check out Katte Sackhoff's Twitter excitement for The Mandalorian above.

Writer for Movieweb since 2017. Likes to play Catan when he's not writing about superheroes and Star Wars.
