Elliot Web page thanks followers for his or her assist after popping out as transgender
Elliot Page, formerly known as Ellen Page, Returned to Instagram for the first time since becoming a transgender and thanked fans for their support.
The Oscar-nominated Juno star, currently starring on Netflix series The Umbrella Academy, shared a selfie on Sunday, December 20, less than three weeks after he announced his gender identity. In the photo, Page appears in glasses and a black hoodie.
"From the bottom of my heart, thank you," wrote the star. "Your love and support was the greatest gift."
Page added, "Stay safe. Be there for each other. If you can, support @transanta and @translifeline. See you at Xoxo Elliot in 2021."
Several celebs have expressed their support for Page following his new post. Jennifer Garner, who played with him in Juno and also played the mother of a closed-off gay teenager in the movie Love, Simon, 2018, commented, "Major, love you, Elliot." Pose star Indya Moore wrote: "I love you sm!" Janelle Monáe, Laura Linney, Kate Mara, James Gunn and Shawn Ashmore also collected behind Page.
