The Black Panther star died in August at the age of 43 after a private four-year battle with colon cancer that most people, including his counterparts in the Netflix movie, were unaware of. A person who was aware of their diagnosis: Taylor Simone Ledward, the actor's girlfriend at the time.
"Thanks to him, he kept it to himself, it wasn't anyone's business.
