Chrissy Teigen shares her earlier struggles with breastfeeding and asks for "system normalization"

Chrissy Teigen is beyond the stigma associated with giving your baby formula through breast milk.

On Twitter, the downright celebrity shared how difficult it was for her to breastfeed and said it got worse when people insisted it was the best option for her baby.

"Okay, I'll say something and all of you will definitely make it a thing, but here it is: normalize formula," Chrissy shared on a long thread. "Normalizing breastfeeding is such a big, wonderful thing. But I was absolutely more ashamed of having to use formula because I had no milk from depression and so on."

The Cravings author went on to make a series of tweets.

"People have surrogate mothers, people have trouble breastfeeding, and all you hear as a new, fearful mom is how breasts are best," she explained. "'Normalize Breastfeeding' is great. 'Normalize Formula' is great too! So yeah. That's all! Normalize Formula! Your baby will be BEAUTIFUL, PERFECT AND OKAY."
