Chrishell Stause responds to controversy over getting Keo Motsepe to satisfy the household in the course of the pandemic
Part of the internet wasn't happy with Chrishell reservoir for friend and Dancing With the Stars Pro Keo Motsepe meet her family over Christmas during a global pandemic.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has urged people to minimize the chance of the coronavirus spreading further by avoiding gatherings with people who do not live with them. That didn't stop millions of people, including the couple, from ignoring the request, and some could rest assured by taking COVID-19 tests before their celebrations and trips to see loved ones after months of self-isolation.
Chrishell took Keo to live with her two sisters and one of the wives and children of the women who live near St. Louis over the holidays, and posted a photo of the group sitting together on a couch wearing matching pajamas. The image sparked criticism from some users, including one who wrote, "Please watch your platform. It's not good to show large family gatherings. Others think it's okay." Following the controversy, the 39-year-old Selling Sunset star made a statement on Instagram.
"For those who have concerns about Covid, I understand and agree that this has not been a good use of my platform," wrote Chrishell, who lives and works in Los Angeles. "Usually I always try to be socially responsible with my contributions because I am a naturally compassionate person. I can see this doesn't show some. I understand you disagree, but at least you can see where I am I'm from … This is my immediate family and we can all test before and after. "
