The Importance of a Sales Funnel System

Effective sales funnel systems help customers to guide potential buyers to purchase from you and keep them loyal customers. Sales funnels assist businesses determine how to get hold of their target audience's attention, overcome objections, improve engagement, and increase sales.

 

1. Attention

This is where you first inform your audience about your business as your audience probably don't know about you at all. This can be done by placing advertisements in places that your intended audience be able to see them, releasing a press release, writing keyword-rich blog articles and hosting webinars for free. It is important to make those who are interested to to sign up for your email newsletter or join your social media pages as they're interested in the services you provide.


2. Keep them interested

You've now gotten the prospect's attention by including them on your email list. Keep them interested and offer additional value. The goal is to educate them more about your products and services and also how you can identify their problems and can solve these issues. While the information you provide them with could be the same format as in the initial stage (blog post ebooks, videos, etc. ), it should not be identical. This phase requires that you provide more detailed and pertinent details.

3. Consider

The potential customer is aware that they require the product or service. However, the prospect needs more information to help them determine if you're the best product to solve their problem. Getting personal with your audience at this point will help understand how your products can solve their issue and make them believe in you more.

Consultations, webinars, product demonstrations, and customer testimonials will help you gain an understanding of your product.

Once prospects have been added to your funnel, it is time to start the process of qualification. This is the stage where the majority of your action occurs. You can quickly filter leads and move through the funnel to turn the opportunity into a sale. This is the stage where you must be in constant contact with the prospect.

Ask them questions about their experience with your content and maybe ask them for suggestions on how you could do to improve the site. You can make their experience exceptional. Engage them (sometimes termed as nurturing) through an activity on your website, such as an online contest, through your blog or videos( you would like to encourage them to leave comments) through online chat and the likes. This is the method to increase loyalty and future customers.

It is now that they are actively engaged, the key to giving value to your leads. You can give informational graphics, reports and tip sheets to your prospects. Offering value can help to move up the funnel easily.

You must delight everyone! Your customers should feel as if they received something valuable from you. Don't be apathetic and thank your clients for the time they spent with you. This will make your service exceptional.

4. Intent

The prospect has made the decision to purchase the product. The prospect now needs to choose the product that best suits their needs. Blog posts on your site will inspire confidence and allow your readers to learn more about your services and products. A newsletter will also make you an expert.

5. Evaluation

Your prospect is convinced that they require your product. You are telling the prospect that you are the best person to do the job. You can accomplish this by using a range of different types of content. It is possible to do this by creating specific reports for your product, by hosting webinars, or no-cost consultations.

6. The stages to purchase

This is where your prospect will actually make a purchase. However, your job isn't over. The sales funnel starts again. It is important to get your customer to try your other products, and then move them into another sales channel. Customers who have purchased from you previously are more likely to do so because they trust your company and trust that you will solve their problems.

If structured correctly, an effective sales funnel can help you turn leads into customers and put your business on autopilot.
